Mass Celebrated at Holy Family Academy
On Friday, January 10, 2020, students, teachers, staff, and family gathered at HFA, which at 11am, hosted the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Two of the senior boys entered the room, followed by Fr. Alonso Saenz, who had come to celebrate the Latin Mass at Holy Family Academy. This Friday’s Mass was special, since it was the first regular weekly Mass to be celebrated at HFA, and also fitting, as it came only 2 days ahead of the Feast of the Holy Family.
Fr. Saenz gave a short homily on the importance of the Epiphany feast, and the symbolism of the three kings before finishing the Holy Sacrifice and distributing Holy Eucharist to the 100+ attendees. He later visited with the students, teachers, and Board of Holy Family Academy, and indicated that he is looking forward to regularly providing the sacraments at the school.
The students of Holy Family Academy were overjoyed to be able to come to Mass at their school, and owe a huge debt of gratitude to Father, as well as to His Excellency Bishop Olmsted for granting HFA the grace of
a weekly Latin Mass.
Finally, we are forever humbled and grateful in the eyes of Divine Providence for the many graces received and prayers answered. Truly, with God, all things are possible!
