Magda Taglienti, MS

First Grade

Ms. Taglienti has been immersed in education for over 20 years, with 10 of those years having been devoted to Catholic education. During her years as a Catholic teacher, she’s had the opportunity to teach grade levels from Pre-K to fourth grade. In addition, during her last two years as a prekindergarten teacher, she took on the role of the assistant preschool director and served as a member of the Early Childhood Curriculum Standards Committee from the Diocese of Phoenix.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a focus in child psychology and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education; both from Arizona State University.

Prior to coming to Holy Family Academy, she was a preschool director and most recently I had the amazing experience of working for a non profit organization as an Early Literacy Specialist. Her latest role allowed me to work with families and their children, ages birth to five, providing them with early literacy and school readiness skills. Moreover, she supported early childhood educators by developing curriculum and implementing professional development opportunities and regular on-site coaching.

“I am thrilled to be part of the Holy Academy Faculty!  I’m passionate about early childhood education and believes in the importance of instilling a love for learning in young children to help them with their future academic success.”
