Miss Matista is very grateful to be joining Holy Family Academy in the mission of providing children with a well-rounded and faith-driven education. She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biological Sciences.

Raised in Northern California, she attended Catholic School from kindergarten through twelfth grade, where she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a lasting fascination with the natural sciences. Her love of science has been a constant throughout her life, and she has long known that she wanted to pursue it in college. Today, she strives to share that passion with her students, inspiring them to discover the beauty of God’s creation and to see that faith and reason are not opposing forces, but complementary paths to truth.
