Mr. Larson is honored to join the faculty of Holy Family Academy this year. He graduated from the University of Dallas in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. During his time at the University of Dallas, he studied a broad range of literature and history, cultivating a deep appreciation for the enduring questions these great works invite us to consider.

Mr. Larson completed his undergraduate thesis on the American Civil War and has a particular passion for American history. Through his studies, and especially during a semester spent in Rome, he also developed a profound love for the history of the ancient world, gaining a richer understanding of the foundations of Western civilization.

While at the University of Dallas, Mr. Larson served as a catechism teacher for sixth- and seventh-grade students through the ECHO program, an initiative founded at the University of Notre Dame. This experience deepened his passion for teaching, mentoring young people, and helping students grow both intellectually and personally.

“I’ve always believed that literature is meant to be experienced, not simply assigned. I often think of the movie Ratatouille: just as every spice contributes to a dish, every literary device, carefully chosen word, and even an unexpected comma enriches a text. My hope is to help students discover that literature and history are not merely subjects to study, but sources of wisdom and delight. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to teach at Holy Family Academy and look forward to sharing that joy with my students.”
