I was raised in Chicago, but met my wife in San Diego and it was there that we chose to raise our family: Matthew (who now resides, coincidently, in Chicago); and Kiah (who with her husband Larry has begun her own family here in Phoenix). In fact, it was the birth of our first grandchild (Brooks) which initially drew us to Phoenix three years ago.
I hold a B.A. in Theology from St. Joseph’s College of Maine and we are members of St. Francis Xavier Parish here locally. I have previously taught within the structure of a classical curriculum at both the third and fifth grade levels, but it was the opportunity to combine my faith with my teaching which I found so compelling about Holy Family Academy.
I am very mindful of the responsibility I owe the young ones in my care and grateful for the opportunity. For me, being here at Holy Family truly is a dream come true.
