Miss Hable graduated from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She grew up in Michigan and moved to Phoenix in 2016, which has become her second home. Prior to teaching at HFA, she taught middle and high school math at a Great Hearts charter school. In her free time, she sings in her parish choir and plays the organ and piano. She enjoys playing volleyball and board games, especially Scrabble.
Miss Hable loves teaching mathematics because she enjoys sharing with students the logic and consistency of math concepts and procedures. “I find beauty in the order and detail of mathematics and in the ways that these concepts manifest themselves in nature, science, and art. I am very excited for the opportunity teach at a Catholic school, because I know that the students and families value education as an important part of living a Catholic life and finding one’s vocation.”
