The Holy Family Academy Girls’ and Boys’ Youth Soccer teams recently successfully completed their first year of competition in the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Youth Athletic Association (CYAA). Coached by HFA dad, Ryan Frank, and HFA alumni and Scottsdale Community College Soccer Team veterans, Sean and Sebastian Demark, the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students learned the fundamentals of soccer. As always, teamwork and sportsmanship were emphasized while mastering running, kicking and scoring.
Congratulations to the Middle School Girls for their 2nd place finish in the season ending CYAA soccer tournament. Congrats also to the 7th-8th grade Boys’ team for their 3rd place finish to the season.
We can’t wait to see how the teams do next year!
