A lot has been happening at Holy Family Academy this fall.
On September 19, ten Holy Family Academy students who are also Fiat! Think Tank members were asked to attend the Aid to Women Center Gala to assist event staff throughout the evening. The students were able to speak with the keynote speaker Toni McFadden and with author Lisa Young.
Mrs. Tomaszewski’s third grade class began reading Paddington Bear. To make the experience even more special, each student received their very own teddy bear from Mrs. T! There’s nothing like a good book and a cuddly bear to bring a story to life. We love seeing our students make meaningful connections with reading!
Students and faculty participated in the annual Picture Day where Padres’ smiles were captured for family and friends to treasure!
The cast of Bye Bye Birdie met for the first read through of the script and for work on one of the dance routines. Rehearsing under the watchful eye of Director Lindsey Murphy, the cast is looking forward to its February 3, 4 and 5, 2027, performances of this perennial favorite production. You won’t want to miss it!
The record setting storms that hit Phoenix throughout October provided a soothing backdrop for Lower Academy students to read in the rain.
Our annual All Saints Day celebration is one of our favorite traditions! On November 2 (after a rain day delay), our K-5 students dressed as their favorite saints and our 6th-12th grade students did a wonderful job hosting carnival games and activities for their younger schoolmates. These are the moments that make HFA such a special community, where faith comes alive and friendships grow across grade levels!
