Principal Graves, faculty and staff welcomed students back to Holy Family Academy for the 2024-2025 school year. The students greeted their old and new friends and attended the first Mass of the year which was offered by Fr. Saenz on August 9.
Students found many upgrades had been made to the campus over the summer. Under direction of Mr. Dominic DeMark, the DNG Construction crew (including several current HFA students and graduates), installed new windows on the 2nd floor, at the main entrance and on the west facing balcony. An additional room was constructed from the multi-purpose room foyer area and several administrative offices were upgraded. All the loose rock around the perimeter of the grassy playground area was removed and replaced with a new smoother surface. Several exterior and interior walls were painted. Finally, many thanks to Mr. Manuel Armenta and his team at Vulcan Fence for designing and installing the beautiful new atrium gate.
