Laura Dry

Assistant Principal

Biography

Mrs. Dry brings more than twenty years of experience teaching middle school humanities in both Catholic and independent private schools across Ontario, Canada, Arizona, and Wisconsin. She earned her Master of Education in Curriculum Development and Instruction from Arizona State University, with an emphasis in reading methodologies for the middle grades. Throughout her career, she has been committed to forming students not only in academic excellence but also in a love of truth, beauty, and goodness.

Mrs. Dry is truly grateful to be returning to Holy Family Academy, where she looks forward to continuing her vocation of serving Christ through Catholic education. Although her role within the halls of HFA will be different upon her return, she is excited to work alongside such a talented and faithful faculty and staff while supporting the mission of the school in forming young men and women of virtue, wisdom, and faith. She also eagerly anticipates getting to know both the returning and new students who make Holy Family Academy such a remarkable community rooted in Christ.

Mrs. Dry and her husband, Chris, are the proud parents of two adult children who are currently attending college. Whenever they are home during school breaks, the family enjoys spending time together cooking meals, hiking, and playing board games. Mrs. Dry considers it a true blessing to accompany young people on their educational and spiritual journey and is honored to be part of the Holy Family Academy family once again.
