The Lamp is Lit in Our Chapel

We are happy to share the wonderful news that His Excellency Bishop Thomas Olmsted has issued a decree to “extend permission for Holy Family Academy to reserve the Most Holy Eucharist in the tabernacle of their chapel.”  Fr. Alonso Saenz has been designated the person responsible for the Most Holy Eucharist.

The sanctuary lamp was lit for the first time after today’s Mass and May Crowning.
Deo gratias!

If you are on campus during school hours, or just stopping by for pick up or drop off, please feel free to make a visit to Our Blessed Lord, even if it’s just for a few short moments! The saints and great doctors of the Church have continually called us to take advantage of this special opportunity whenever possible. We have included some quotes from some saints (and one author) below on this topic.

We are truly grateful for the abundant blessings we have enjoyed this year. Bishop Olmsted’s recognition of Holy Family Academy as an independent Catholic school and now his permission to repose the Blessed Sacrament in our tabernacle are answers to the prayers of many faithful over the past four years.  We hope you will join us in giving thanks for these bounteous gifts of grace.

With God all things are possible…

Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you- for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart… don’t listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love.
